# ATLAS LOG — Onroover brand-film recovery
Work ID: WORK-004 (Head wrote UNKNOWN; First Mate set this on file)
Status: Context capture / narrative lock. Not an execution handoff. Not apex.

Agreed intent: Onroover is not a conventional product homepage or disruption pitch. It is a quiet, high-level brand film about changing where roof replacement starts. The text is the primary story. The visual world supports it. Intended effect: a roof has lived a full life, the world around it has changed, but the way people begin replacing it has not. Roover changes the starting point by defining the job.

Locked storyboard spine:
1. 1965 — monochrome opening. Framed house in B&W. First tiled roof going on. Date begins 1965.
2. Zoom out — a life around one roof. Camera withdraws. Suburb grows denser across time. Date progresses toward 2026. Still monochrome.
3. Narrative over image. Text tells the philosophical story: roof replacement still begins backwards. Visual quietly proves time and the roof’s lived life.
4. The pivot. Key line: “Roover defines the job.” Structural and visual hinge.
5. Return to the roof — first colour. At that line, fold into the second visual system. Camera returns to the roof. Colour appears.
6. High-tech sequence. Roof scanned, mapped, readable geometry, 3D model. Precise and capable, not an AI/software demo.
7. Material choice. Visualiser shows material on the roof model. Homeowner decision, not a catalogue.
8. Real-world resolution. Visualiser reaches a chosen angle/material. At that exact moment resolves into a realistic image of the same roof.
9. Closeout and onward paths. Resolved home closes the film. Only then links.

Critical judgement: one continuous film, not stitched pages. Mono prologue and colour/scan are different systems joined at the pivot. Do not interrupt the opening with feature cards, product explanation, nav clutter, conversion. Do not lead with AI, disruption, dashboards, startup theatre. Suburb/date readable behind text, never compete. Final resolve must match visualiser angle/material.

Assets they named: Factory Lab start/ladder/roof-found; new Downloads candidates (high-tech clip, 3D roof render, real aerial) = candidates not approved. They left runs.onroover.com, storyboard-sitting, timeline-open, begin-restore as UNKNOWN role — First Mate already has those on the workspace; map them in Piece 2.
